Me too! I actually started thinking about this because of your question about icebreakers on Zoom calls. I was thinking - what about having someone take an item in the room and explain why it's significant to them?
That would work well. My go to at the moment is just to start each call by asking each person “How are you doing?” But be prepared, about the half the time someone gets emotional. And that is ok.
